Harte-Hanks has developed the CI Technology Database™ (CITDB) for more than 35 years. More than 350 trained researchers conduct more than 60,000 telephone interviews each month with information technology buyers in 25 countries, asking over 10 million questions a year.

A Targeted Approach

Our skilled researchers are divided into separate interview teams, each responsible for collecting a specific aspect of a site's technology profile. Separate interview teams have been created to profile different components of a specific location’s technology infrastructure. Specific interviews are completed for:

  • Hardware and Software Infrastructure (including systems, software, storage, PCs, outsourcing, and peripherals)
  • LAN infrastructure
  • Telecommunications and Data communications Infrastructure
  • e-Business Infrastructure

There are also two teams dedicated solely to capturing a comprehensive overview of all technology decision makers and influencers at each location.

With this team approach, a site can be called numerous times throughout the year. Each interview focuses on a different respondent who can fill out the technology and contact profile of the location. By profiling a company from every angle, we deliver the most accurate picture of a potential buyer. Caller Quality Program

To ensure the highest quality content, we institute a thorough caller quality assurance program consisting of periodic updates, thorough interviewer training, random sampling logic checks, weekly random phone audits and feedback, and numerous redundant periodic data entry checks.

To further guarantee excellence, we employ a proprietary Computer Aided Telephone Interview software program. Developed in-house, this program ensures high-quality input and productivity maximization throughout our call center operations.
